We Had a Great 2005
Legislative Session But....
Republican Governor Ehrlich on Friday May 20th
vetoed two important GLBT bills that you worked so hard to pass during the
'05 legislative session.
Contact Governor Ehrlich and express your
disappointment that he vetoed
- The Medical Decision Making Act of
2005 (SB 796)
- The Transfer and Recordation Tax Exemption Bill (HB
1298)
Call the Governor at 410-974-3901 and let your
voice be heard. Let him know that by vetoing those bills:
- He is obviously not the "Moderate" he claimed to be
during his campaign.
- He is NOT a tax cutting Republican as he vetoed a
tax cut.
- He is a puppet of the Radical Religious Right who
are neither truly religious nor "right".
Letters to the Editor:
We need to inundate our local newspapers expressing
our disappointment that our governor is not a compassionate conservative.
Expose him as the Radical Republican he has now proved himself to be.
